The
Association of Reproductive Reflexologists (the ARR) is a new
organisation which aims to form a professional body of practitioners
with a good standard of training that the public can rely upon and
to become a kite mark for excellence.
Launched in October 2011 in Birmingham at a meeting attended by Seren-trained reflexologists from many different parts of the UK, the organisation exists to promote best practice in this important area of therapy.

For most women getting pregnant is a straightforward process.
However current research tells a different story. In the USA,
infertility affects 2 percent of couples in their early twenties, 25
percent of couples in their mid-thirties, and more than 40 percent of
couples in their late thirties and early forties. Delaying starting a
family because of lifestyle or financial pressures, and our increasingly
stressful lives, are major contributing factors to this.
Reproreflexology™ is an exciting new branch of Reflexology aimed at
assisting women who are finding it difficult to conceive. With access to
specialist medical treatment becoming more difficult and expensive, this
complementary therapy provides cost-effective help and support to
enhance fertility.
Reproreflexology works at any stage of a couple’s pregnancy planning.
For the woman it can focus on general well-being before attempted
conception or during pregnancy - either by itself or often in
conjunction with medical treatments. For her male partner, it can help
reduce stress thus promoting healthy sperm production. Your individual
treatment will work well on its own or in conjunction with IVF/IUI
cycles. Many of my clients are undergoing fertility treatment with
conventional medical practitioners. I work in a way which enhances their
treatments and enhances chances of success.
Initial consultation includes taking a detailed medical history, which
includes information on any fertility treatment being taken or planned,
together with details of life-style. Reproreflexology is not magic: it
will not guarantee pregnancy or solve underlying chronic medical
conditions. It does however create a healthier environment for a
possible pregnancy to occur by encouraging the body to work more
efficiently.
I have recently joined the Association of Reproductive Reflexologists (ARR) a new professional body of practitioners promoting excellence in this field.
