Hopi Ear Candle Therapy

Reflexology Treatment Hopi Ear Candle Therapy is a non invasive treatment for sinuses treatment for sinuses, pressure regulation in the case of headache and migraines, rhinitis, ‘glue ear’, noises in the ear (such as tinnitus), revitalization in cases of hearing impairment, local activation of the lymph and metabolic process, stimulation of the energy flow, circulation, relaxation and stress relief.

How they work: ear candles have a purely physical function. A light suction action (chimney effect) and the movement of the flame create a vibration of air in the Ear candle generating a massage like effect on the eardrum. This induces a pleasant feeling of warmth and a balance of pressure in the treatment.

Allied to the use of Ear Candles, the thermo-auricular ear blend has proved to be very successful in the treatment of ear problems. The causes of earache can range from a viral infection (including colds and flu), to blowing your nose that bit too hard, to perforation of the eardrum by strenuously trying to clean out earwax with a cotton bud. Traditionally, the medical profession will recommend a course of antibiotics. The blend is designed to relieve pain quickly, unblock the ears (specifically, the Eustachian tubes), remove earwax, and reduce any inflammation as well as addressing any underlying or potential ear infection.

It is recommended that 3-4 treatments be taken initially at 4-7 day intervals then a maintenance treatment every 4-6 weeks. Sessions last approx 40 minutes and cost £25.
